Halifax Nova Scotia, April 9

The wedding took place this afternoon of Helen, daughter of the late George Stairs, and Lieutenant Eric Grant , eldest son of His Honor Lieutenant-Governor and Mrs. Grant. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. W. R. Ross, at Fort Massy church, in the presence of a number of near relatives and friends. The groom was accompanied by Lieutenant John Grant R.C.R. and the bride by Miss Jane Roscoe, daughter of Major Murray Roscoe .
