MILITARY HEADQUARTERS ANNOUNCED PROMOTIONS

Many promotions and appointments are announced as follows in the military orders issued for today at Exhibition Park camp:

Lieuts. H. A. C. Breuls, C.O.T.C., and L. R. Shoebottoom, 7th Regiment, appointed to the Overseas Training Company, University of Toronto.

86th Battalion1--To be major, Capt. G. C. Ferrie, 13th Regiment; to be captain, Lieut. R. F. Inch, 91st Regiment.

97th Battalion (American Legion)--Lieut. H. C. Billings transferred to 212th Battalion, Winnipeg. Lieut. F. R. Emerson Woodward, 21st Regiment, appointed provisionally to 97th Battalion.

116th Battalion--To be major, Capt. F. H. Moody, Q.O.R.; to be captain, Lieut. W. H. D. Sharpe, 10th R.G. [Royal Grenadiers]

119th Battalion--Lieut. G. E. Madden, 51st Regiment, permitted to resign.

123rd Battalion--Lieut. L. D. Lefroy permitted to resign.

125th Battalion--Appointment of Lieut. R. T. Brown, 38th Regiment, approved provisionally.

126th Battalion--Appointment of Lieut. F. W. Ott, 36th Regiment, approved provisionally.
