Letters From the Front

Dear Folks at Home:-

I haven't heard from home for a couple of weeks but your box dated March 12^th arrived yesterday and letters will probably follow.

The box was in fine shape and we certainly enjoyed the candy, cake etc. I am keeping the cocoa until we make the next trip in the line as it comes in very handy then.

This has been a wonderful day for us and I feel like a new man tonight. The chief reason for this is that we enjoyed the supreme luxury of a bath. Some baths that we get consist of about 2 minutes under a hot shower but this one was really a bath and we enjoyed it to the fullest.

Euart shaved off his moustache today and we hardly knew him afterwards. I have given up hopes of ever being able to grow one but perhaps I may be able to cultivate a goatee some day although they aren't very fashionable at present in the army.

Well I must close now as Bill is hollering for me to come to bed.
